Damaged Schools Fund

The firestorms in Los Angeles are possibly the
worst natural disasters in recent history and definitely the most devastating, destructive, and expensive.
Billions of dollars in damage, more than 12,000 buildings destroyed, literally thousands of people displaced, and the nightmare firestorm has turned into a schooling mightmare.
To rebuild, we are going to need the entire country to pull together as one and help in any way we can.
At Damaged Schools Fund, we hope to provide support to those affected by providing emergency school supplies during this time of crisis.
As schools reopen across LA, many children are left with only the few possessions they could carry.
They dont have the basic supplies necessary, they dont have spare clothes, many dont even have money for lunch.
We hope to provide the basics.
We hope to ease the trauma…
And we hope you will help…

The First Step:
Provide emergency school supplies for children affected by the fires.
The Second Step:
Begin resupplying our schools basic needs as we wait for federal aid to arrive.
Here is what we know so far:
At least a dozen schools in the LA and Pasadina area have been damaged by the fires to the point they are leveled or completely unusable,
Most children from those schools will be transfered to other schools at least until the end of the school year.
Budgets are already stretched thin.
They are going to need our help...
